Meet the New Offensive Coordinator

Ole Miss head football coach Ed Orgeron announced the hiring of former Miami offensive coordinator Dan Werner late this afternoon. Werner comes to the Rebels with tons of experience on the offensive side of the ball. Werner has been in coaching for 23 years with 8 of those at Miami. Werners offense has been defined as 50-50 pass/run. Werner also says he will be given the opportunity to bring his own offense into Oxford and not have to run the USC/West Coast offense.

I think this is a good hire for the Rebels. This is an area of the staff we needed some changes in and we have done that so far. If Kehoe comes along that will be great also. Early word from talking to the recruits is that they are pleased with the hiring of Werner. We will see how that plays out in the near future. For the complete bio and story click on the link below.
