The New Guy

The Ole Miss baseball team picked up an addition to their roster this week. Jesse Simpson(not not Jessica Simpson) a Right Handed Pitcher from Zachary, LA has enrolled at Ole Miss for intersession and is expected to join the team on Monday. Simpson whose stats in high school include a .8ERA as a senior including a no hitter and a 1.0 ERA as a junior(Central Private). Jesse was drafted out of high school in the 49th round to the Braves. Last semester he attended a JUCO college in Pensacola, FL. By all accounts, he will be a great addition to the pitching staff and possibly in the weekend rotation. Looks like a big pickup by the Rebs.
