Rebs Beat Dogs In Close Game

Birmingham-Just in from the game. It was a great of a game as I predicted. Ole Miss got on the scoreboard early and managed to hold on to its lead as they defeated the Bulldogs 3-1 tonight at Regions park. Ole Miss was reliant all night on pitcher Will Kline who through an outstanding complete game which included yet another double digit strikeout night. It was probably one of Will's best outings as a Rebel.

With that win, the Rebels stay in the win column and will face UT who upset Vandy tonight in the evening game.Vandy did not throw their ace pitcher in Price and they paid for it. With the loss State will play Vandy and have to face Price now.

Crazier things have happened but the win tonight should solidify Ole Miss hosting a regional.

All in all it was a great game and hopefully the Rebs can continue on this path.
