He's The Stat Man

OXFORD, Miss. – After a review of tape from the 2006 season, Ole Miss running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis actually earned an additional yard, which left him with an even 1,000 yards rushing for the year.
“Our tape review revealed an improper spot had been made on one of his carries in the Auburn game,” said Senior Associate Athletics Director for Media Relations Langston Rogers. “Stacy Holmes, who is our official scorer, agreed with what we saw on tape and the corrected game file has been received by both the NCAA and the SEC.”
Green-Ellis becomes only the third Ole Miss player to gain 1,000 yards rushing in a season. Kayo Dottley did it twice, gaining 1,312 yards in 1949 and 1,007 in 1950. Deuce McAllister gained 1,082 yards rushing in 1998.
