Rebels Cruise to Victory

The two Rebel players who needed to step up after not so good games on Saturday bounced back and performed well for the Rebels. This game was in the Rebels hands from the beginning. By my calculations all the players on the Ole Miss team who dress out got to play tonight. This was a good blow out win for the Rebels who have not had one all season.

(C-L)OXFORD — Bam Doyne scored a career-high 25 points and Dwayne Curtis added 16 points and 11 rebounds as Ole Miss defeated Louisiana-Monroe 87-53 tonight.
Curtis, in his second appearance after being sidelined with a preseason foot injury, recorded the double-double with more than five minutes remaining in the first half. He played only briefly in the second half.Clarence Sanders added 10 points for Ole Miss (8-2), which has won nine straight over the Warhawks.
