Tragedy Update

Some updates from what I can gather.

-Daniel Cummings the student arrested for the incident has been charged with capital murder for killing a police officer. He is being held in the Lafayette County Detention Center without bond.

-The funeral for Officer Langley will take place at 2p.m. Wednesday on campus at the Ford Center.

-It is my understanding some type of "pass the bucket" will take place at the game on Saturday. I encourage everyone to stick a little extra money in their wallet before the game to contribute to the fund for officer Langley's family. He is leaving behind a wife and four young kids.

-A scholarship fund has also been established at the University Foundation for those that would like to contribute in that manner.
