As Expected

The Clarion Ledger is officially reporting that three Rebel basketball players have left the team. Trey Hampton, Andy Ogide, and Xavier Hansboro have officially left the team according to the C-L and this was confirmed by David Wells of UMAA. This was expected and reported on this site several weeks ago. Look for at least one of them to possibly end up at Georgia State to play for former coach Rod Barnes. I am sure all we be granted releases by the program and free to play wherever. This opens up three more scholarships for Kennedy who signed the two above. Word is Kennedy is still actively recruiting and look for him to pick up possibly a transfer or another player who has yet to sign somewhere. Remember the class Kennedy was able to bring in last year with just Spring recruiting, expect that class to be very similar this year.
