Henry Named Player of Week

Ole Miss second baseman Justin Henry was named Southeastern Conference player of the week for his performance last week in leading the Rebels to a 4-1 record and a three-game series victory over UCLA.Henry hit .636. He was 14 of 22, with five multiple-hit games. He capped his weekend with a 4-for-4 performance in Sunday's 4-1 series-clinching victory over UCLA.The Vicksburg native hit .714 (10 for 14) against the Bruins. Henry leads the Rebels with a .447 batting average and is one of six Rebels hitting above .300 .Ole Miss' next game is Tuesday at Arkansas State. The Rebels then open Seastern Conference play on the road with a three-game series this weekend at top-ranked Vanderbilt. The first game is set for 7 p.m. on Friday.(C-L)
