Tad Pad News

Well today was the day that those who had seats in sections N,O,P of Tad Smith Coliseum had to pick new seats due to the student section being moved. There were many upset long time fans of Ole Miss basketball that were forced to move at Coach Kennedy's request. I have heard reports from Oxford that those fans who have had the same seats for almost 30 years were there early this morning to pick out their new seats. Many of these fans were upset over this and one has been raising hell since the day he found out and was at the Tad Pad all day yesterday and was rumored to get there at 6:00 this morning to give him another piece of his mind.

On another note, the area where the new student section is will be bleacher seats. They have gone to this look to try and pack more students in closer to the court. I understand the idea, but I think it is going to look weird if no one is there to sit in them. However this should not happen come January, because the entire student section for basketball was sold out in August.

So for those of you that order season tickets to basketball and want new seats, flood the ticket office with calls and tell them you want your seats moved. There are plenty of open season ticket seats available for you to choose from. But you better call before the deadline.

Practice starts Friday with the first exhibition three weeks away. I am going to have to do alot of studying on this team. Because we will recognize very few of the players on the court.
