Rebels Raise Money for Langley Family

OXFORD, Miss. -­ Preliminary figures indicate over $110,000 was raised for the late University of Mississippi Police Officer Robert Langley’s children last Saturday during the Ole Miss - Auburn football contest, Ole Miss Athletics Director Pete Boone said Monday afternoon. An official release from University Media and Public Relations will be forthcoming.

Over 120 Ole Miss students, including many student-athletes, collected funds throughout Vaught-Hemingway Stadium between the first and second quarters of last Saturday’s game. All proceeds collected have been designated for the children ­ Cory, Robbie, Maci and Anne Clair.
