We Are In

The speculation is over. As reported earlier by the staff of Worldclassglass, the women's rifal team is in the NCAA Championship. We might be on the downhill in basketball, but rifle is on the way up. Finally Title 9 pays off.

OXFORD, Miss. - For the first time in the program's 10-year history the Ole Miss Rebel rifle team has advanced to the NCAA Championships and will compete beginning March 10 for a national title.
"I can't explain what this means for our players and our program," said Ole Miss head coach Valerie Boothe, who is the only head coach in Ole Miss rifle history. "The girls worked so hard all year, and I am proud of them for reaching their goals."
Ole Miss will join Alaska-Fairbanks, Kentucky, Murray State, Navy, Nebraska and defending national champion Army, at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., for the two-day event.
