Frigid

Myself and several other readers of this blog showed their true Rebel Sports dedication by braving the incredibly cold elements on Friday and attending opening day. The Rebels started off a little slow for the first couple of innings but turned things around for the two games. Winning 9-1 and 11-2 over St. Louis started the season off right. Sunday's game was cancelled and we were not forced to brave the elemets again. The student crowd in right field was very impressive I estimate it was about 1200 at one point in right field. Glad to see the support has grown for Rebel baseball. The baseball team returns to the field to host Samford on Tuesday.
