CBSSportsline has an article today about college basketball coaches who are on the hot seat. That is right you guessed it, our coach Rod Barnes is on the list. Former coach Rob Evans is on the list also, should be interesting. I know one thing if we do not beat State this year, Barnes's seat will be on fire. Here is their writeup.

Rod Barnes, Mississippi: Don't be fooled by Ole Miss' 9-3 start. The Rebels have beaten nobody in the RPI top 150, they lost by 53 to New Mexico and they have an overall strength of schedule rated No. 287 nationally. Barnes' career 136-96 record is all about smoke and mirrors, considering his non-conference winning percentage (.750) is light years ahead of his SEC mark (.411). In November 2004, Ole Miss announced a "large and celebrated" signing class of six players. Half failed to qualify academically. There's no celebrating that.
