I got out to check out the baseball facilities this afternoon and hoped to catch a little practice. However, by the time I got out there practice was over. Although I was able to take a picture of the new scoreboard as it is being put in at O-U Stadium/Swayze field. As you can see in the pictures this is going to be a big asset to the staidum. This seems to be a state of the art scoreboard with a video screen. Some doubted where they put it, but I like the location. All areas of the stadium will now be able to see the board. The finishing touches are not done, it is my understanding there will be permanent sponsors as well as rotating sponsors along the outside of the board. First pitch less than a month away against the Billikens.
