Got A Little Carried Away

I got a little carried away last night and forgot to post that 4-star running back Cordera Eason out of Meridian has committed to the Rebels. Eason who rushed for almost 2,000 yards last season is a big addition for an already stacked Ole Miss backfield.

I will go out on a line and say this has been the biggest two weeks in Ole Miss athletics in my lifetime. A basketball team that has won three straight SEC games and commitments from some of the top recruits in the nation.

I have got to hand it to Grant and the staff at Rivals, they had some great coverage of the news, and of course their board did not crash like some others did.

Today is another big day in Ole Miss sports, as the Rebels travel to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are a decent team and any SEC opponent on the road is always tough. I would really like to see Clarence Sanders step up and be the break out player for this game. If he gets going the Rebels have a chance to really go places. Let's hope the Rebels can continue their streak.
