Is He From Italy??

In the up and coming World Baseball Championship former Ole Miss Rebel David Dellucci will be playing for the country of Italy. Dellucci who was a member of the World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks currently plays for the Texas Rangers.

It appears if you are not on the team of your native country you may play on the team of your ancestors. Do not think that David is the only player in the MLB not on the U.S. team, there are tons of players that are playing for other teams. I am just glad David is getting a chance to participate.

I have followed Dellucci throughout his MLB career. David is a solid player and is a big hit with the fans no matter what team he plays for. I hope Buck Showalter will give him some good playing time this year.
