Second Verse Same As The First

Once again, Ole Miss has lost a weekend SEC series. The Rebels are now 24-12 and 7-8 in the league. The question now is will the Ole Miss Baseball team even make the SEC Tourney. If you would have told me last year I would be asking the question of whether or not we would even make the tournament, I would have told you, you were crazy. Halfway through SEC play the Rebels are making some bad moves from a coaching and players standpoint. I thought after the romping we put on LSU on Friday night, we would at least win the series if not sweep them. Yesterday's 7-6 loss in the bottom of the ninth really hurt the confidence. A question raised in that game was, why pull Mark Wright one of the hottest hitters on our team, for Miles Franklin and then bat C.J. Ketchum for Franklin. I did however feel that Bianco made better decisions this weekend about pulling pitchers. Eric Fowler pitched a very impressive game today and I believe established himself as a weekend starter. Anyway, we are halfway through and are in dire need of winning at least two series if not more. Bianco really needs to get the fan support back behind himself and the team. Hope is not lost, but it is moving in the wrong direction.
