May Slide in April

For the Ole Miss baseball fan out there, you really have to be disappointed in the baseball team right now. The Rebels just can't seem to pull it all together. This team is talented enough to be blowing through teams not having to worry about other things. Instead they lost 2 out of 3 at home to Alabama. They never should lose a series at home especially on a weekend like this. Saturday was an amazing setting, there were people in every corner of the stadium and in the outfields. It was a heckuva game also, with the Rebels pulling through in the clutch. Sunday was flat out embarrassing. No one could hit the ball and stupid errors were made. I might lose it next time one of our batters swing at the first pitch and flys or grounds out. It is evident we do not have a bullpen, our pitching staff is really struggling right now. On another note, it was some pretty terrible umpiring. By no means did they cause us to lose the game or anything, but they were pathetic. I have never seen or heard as much booing as I did this weekend. We must bounce back and perform this week. The Rebels travel to Cajun country this week to play SE Louisiana and LSU. Now is the time.
