The Goose Leads The Flock

Michael Wakefield"aka The Goose" picked up his first collegiate start of his career tonight against Southeastern Louisiana. Wakefield had a tough first inning, but bounced back in the next two allowing only one runner to reach a base. The Goose was then relieved in the fourth inning. Ole Miss started in the hole tonight, but bounced back to beat SELA 10-8. This was a good win for the Rebels who coming into the game had lost five of the last six. However, they committed way to many errors and mistakes tonight. The Rebels stay in the Cajun state as they travel to Baton Rouge to take on the Fightin Tigas of LSU. If the Rebels could take two of three this weekend, they will make up for last weekend.
