The Tide Rolls Into Oxford

The Ole Miss Rebels(11-7,2-3) take on the Alabama Crimson Tide(14-3,3-1) Saturday afternoon at 3p.m. The Rebels just came off a disappointing loss to Kentucky on Wednesday. Ole Miss led the game for 37 minutes. On the other hand, the Crimson Tide are coming off a massacre of MSU. It was the worst loss in Mississippi State history. The Rebels continue to be led by Londrick Nolen with 12 points a game, while the Tide are led by Memphis native Earnest Shelton with 17.9ppg. When the Rebels and Tide get together at the Tad Pad it is usually a tough fight till the finish. Look for Marvin Moore to come off the bench again and contribute for the Rebels against his home state school. This game could make or break the Rebels. Another plus about this game is that the new Rebel football coaching staff will be introduced at half time. The matchup will be broadcast live on Jefferson-Pilot Sports.
