Ole Miss vs. State

Ole Miss will take on its cross-state rival in their home opener of SEC play. The Mississippi State Bulldogs (13-2, 1-0) come into this game ranked eighteenth in the nation. Ole Miss needs to find someone other than junior forward Londrick Nolen who can score. Mississippi State will be led by pre season All-American Lawrence Roberts, who for some reason chose $tate to transfer after leaving Baylor. I will not lie, the Bulldogs are a good team and will put up a run for the repeat SEC Champs. Coming into the game Ole Miss holds a 74-39 lead in the series of games played in Oxford. If Tommie Eddie is allowed to play in this game, look for the Rebels to try hard and extend this record. If Eddie is not allowed to play, look for the Bulldogs to run away with the game, and for former Pillow Academy great Michael Boler to get some playing time. There will be an abundance of State fans at the game. The game will be televised by Jefferson Pilot sports. Game time is at 1:00.
(Update on Eddie will be published as soon as we know the answer)
