Rebel Sports Update

Tim Brando, the sports announcer who dogged Ole Miss with the firing of David Cutcliffe, will be in Oxford on Saturday. Brando will be in Oxford to cover the Ole Miss - Mississippi State game. It will be interesting to see if Ole Miss fans will respond to his comments earlier in the year.............Ole Miss fans are awaiting a decision that will be decided this afternoon as to whether or not Tommie Eddie will be cleared to play. Eddie was held out of play against Arkansas for "academic concerns." If Eddie is not cleared to play, it could be an even longer season for the Rebels.....Chris Spencer is weighing his options of turning pro. The Ole Miss offensive lineman is rumored to be going pro, look for an announcement sometime next week........Preview of the State game will be posted this afternoon.
