Hogs Roast Rebs

Ole Miss was defeated tonight by Arkansas 69-46 at Bud Walton Arena. The Rebels were down only 6 at the half. Ole Miss shot a miserable 12-47(25.5%) from the field. Arkansas converted 25 points off of Ole Miss' 24 turnovers. The Rebels, despite shooting terrible in the first half, played a good game for 20 minutes. In the second half, it all fell apart. Ole Miss was led again by Londrick Nolen who had 19pts. and 12 reb. Brandon Patterson contributed 7 points for the Rebels. Without Tommie Eddie in the paint, Arkansas out scored Ole Miss 34-10 down low. If the Rebels are going to compete in the SEC, which they are capable of, more people have to step up and score and Eddie must become eligible. The Rebels take on cross-state rival MSU on Saturday, check back later in the week for a report.
