Rebs Win Last One at Home

Well Dwayne Curtis showed up tonight for the Rebels and played very well down low as he led the Rebels to one last win at Tad Smith Coliseum. The Rebs beat the Hogs of Arkansas in a game in which they led most of the game.

Of course as is Ole Miss luck the first half of the game was not on ESPN as there was a delay in the Ohio State game and the game ran into overtime. But as I said that is how Ole Miss's luck goes.

Well they will finish the season on the road at Georgia. UGA is not a very good team, but it is senior day and you never know what will happen on that day. As Kennedy said in the post game, he is asking the Rebs to take their show on the road and play well in just one other state besides Mississippi, which is the state of Georgia. It is still a very long shot but wins in Athens and a couple in Atlanta will catch the committee's eyes.

A classic line of Kennedy in the post game, when Kellum asks if they would let him take the rims or padding of the Tad Pad with him to Georgia, he laughed and responded : "I don't know if they will let us take the rims, but maybe they will let us take some of the asbestos with us"
