Henry, Miller Named All Americans

(UMAA)
OXFORD, Miss. – Despite the 2007 baseball season ending a week ago, the honors continued to roll in for a pair of young Rebels as Jordan Henry and Zach Miller were named Freshman All-America selections by Baseball America, the publication announced recently.

Henry was named as a first team selection in the outfield, while Miller was selected to the second team as a designated hitter. Both were also selected to Freshman All-America honors by Collegiate Baseball earlier in the season.

“It’s a tremendous honor for both Jordan and Zach to be selected as Freshman All-American’s by Baseball America, and it is certainly an honor they both deserve,” said Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco. “Both of these young men played important roles in our success this season and it’s always nice to see that contribution and their athletic ability recognized.”
