Former Rebel Center Gets Promoted

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss head football coach Ed Orgeron announced Tuesday he has promoted tight ends coach Matt Luke to assistant offensive line coach. Luke will continue working with the tight ends as he takes on his additional offensive line responsibilities.
"Matt Luke has done a tremendous job and is very deserving of this promotion," Orgeron said. "This will strengthen our staff as Matt works with George DeLeone, who is one of the finest offensive line coaches in all of college football."
Luke is in his fourth year with the Rebels, having joined the staff in 2002 as the assistant offensive line and tight ends coach. Luke, who also serves as recruiting coordinator, is the only member remaining from the previous the coaching staff.
