Rosamond to Play in Mississippi

Former Ole Miss standout will be a part of Mississippi's newest sports franchise. Someone had asked earlier where Michael was playing and I noticed today he is in the Braves organization. The Mississippi Braves will be playing in a new and impressive stadium being built in the suburb of Jackson.

Rosamond, 26, is entering his seventh pro season. A power-hitting outfielder/first baseman, he was a first-round pick of the Houston Astros in 1999 and has played parts of four years in Double-A. He spent last season in the Colorado and Pittsburgh organizations.
