Snakes Defeated

John David Sikes of Sigma Chi, tore it up Friday night at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, as the Sigma Chi's defeated the Sigma Nu's 20-7. Sigma Nu could not get going all night long. Fumbles and poor offensive line blocking turned out to be the main factor for the Sigma Nu loss. Sikes, a washed up high school football star made numorous receptions and kick returns to gain numerous yards on the Sigma Nu team. A special appearance by Ed Orgeron at halftime allowed many in the audience to hear him for the first time. The night however was a success, as the chapter raised about $75,000.
