Sean Murphy Update

In response to Coach Ed Murphy's spotlight article the other day, I was asked where Sean Murphy is these days. Sean played Center for the Rebels from 1988-1991. Murphy currently holds the record for blocked shots in a career with 180. Do not look for this record to be broken anytime soon. Sean went on and graduated from UMC in Jackson, and did his residency at Lake Forest University. He practices medicine as a Pulmonologist Critical Care Specialist in Winston-Salem, N.C. Sean is currently married and has two young sons.
